This is a delightful, short story for toddlers by author, Belinda Beeck. This is book 1 in a series soon to come called “Millie’s World”. It’s about a cat and a dog getting along together…Especially, the silly antics of the unhappy cat. Plus, we also get to meet Millie’s family for the first time. The words are easy to read. I appreciate that the author put them right along side the illustrations, for toddlers have short attention spans. The illustrations are just adorable , especially the unhappy cat’s expressions, big, bright and colorful…..

Millie’s Kitty is a happy cat until one day things change in her world. LOL. That is the day she becomes “Unhappy Cat”. the family has just bought home a new pet, a dog named Digger. Kitty is jealous and doesn’t play nice, but Digger is happy and doesn’t notice at all. So, she still remains ” Unhappy Cat”.. What silly things this adorable cat does to get noticed had my little daughter laughing…so, if you want to laugh also. You need to read to find out 🙂
